I found this clever project by th0ma5w on Github that allows control of
rtl_fm parameters via browser:

I must be doing something wrong as I can't get the python piece to work
right. Has anyone else tried this?

I found this clever project by th0ma5w on Github that allows control

Happy to report that thanks to help from dev Thomas, the problem has
been corrected and the react/jquery cdn links have been updated.
Substituting rtl_fm_python for rtl_fm (passing the same parameters)
allows frequency, gain, and mode to be controlled via web browser on the
same or any computer on the LAN, including the standard Android browser.
